Valuable Insight
In much of our work with local authorities, government departments, community transport providers and bus operators, we find that initial assumptions about the attitudes, needs and wants of various parties cannot be taken for granted. We have, therefore, developed versatile processes for listening to passengers, employees, service users and other stakeholders, reading between the lines, asking the right questions and distilling their thoughts into valuable insights.
This can involve carefully designed surveys and interviews (online and face to face), discussion groups, workshops and questionnaires that explore the relevant issues. In some cases, building rapport can be an important part of the process, in others, simple tick-box answers suffice, as long as the questions are appropriate for the task. We then analyse the views expressed to identify the real issues that need to be addressed and formulate reasoned recommendations.
We have a reputation for ‘telling it as it is’ and often find that a request to gather opinions leads to unexpected, fresh and vital insights.
