Financially Supported Services
Spending by local authorities on supported bus services is often seen as discretionary and is, therefore, vulnerable to cuts.
We work with many authorities to reduce the call on the public purse and maximise the use of remaining services by combining routes, eliminating unproductive time, merging school and local bus services, developing scoring systems to measure the value of services and advising on the methods of procurement most likely to minimise cost.
In addition to the deregulated regime in the UK (outside London) we have worked on state-controlled networks in regulated regimes in Europe, the Middle East, Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and Jersey.
If you would like to discuss this with us please contact our office on 01772 204988 or send us an email.
