Shop Mobility
Short term wheelchair and scooter loans for accessing urban centres and retail facilities have become more widespread over the past twenty years. They have an important role to play in enabling people with disabilities to lead independent lives and assisting local authorities, civic bodies and retailers to meet their Equality duties.
We undertake feasibility studies for shopmobility services, provide expert guidance to optimise delivery during the planning phase and have significant, hands-on experience of setting up and operating highly successful shopmobility schemes.
We also devise and design mobile shopmobility units which can serve market days, festivals and events.
