Environmental Assessments

We have a small but dedicated team of consultants and associate partners help clients improve their environmental performance. We are able to offer the following services amongst others

  • Business Continuity and Incident Response Planning
  • Carbon ‘footprinting’ of passenger transport networks
  • Environmental Awareness Training and Briefings
  • Environmental Management System (EMS) development assistance, including Initial Environmental Reviews (baseline reviews)
  • Fleet Reviews – both ‘Green’ and ‘Grey’ (Executive) reviews
  • Safe Routes Risk Assessments
  • ‘Smarter Choices’ solutions – an alternative to conventional passenger transport
  • Travel Planning – tailored for education, health and employment users and stakeholders

We do not deal in ‘theoretical’ recommendations, we plan for real savings in actual ‘hard cash’. We have confidence in our methods of undertaking contract reviews so we often accept a low fee in exchange for a proportion of the cost savings. Health & Safety Reviews

Managing Health & Safety (H&S) issues can be stressful, time consuming and expensive. Our independent external audit will help you to ensure you are serving your clients and staff to the high standards they deserve, and which the law and your Duty of Care demands. Our starter assessment includes:

  • Site visits to observe Special Educational Needs (SEN) home-to-school and adult day care transport and a thorough, practical and technical appraisal of all aspects of health and safety
  • Collecting, comparing and benchmarking documentation including corporate H&S policies and procedures, and the H&S aspects of the contracts you issue to third party providers
  • Stakeholder consultation including in-house, contract and external transport providers, transport commissioners, school and day centre management.

The basic starter cost is £4,950 and price will vary depending on factors such as; number of employees, vehicles and stakeholders. If required, more extensive auditing work can be undertaken, including interviews with operators and drivers, detailed appraisal of corporate health and safety materials, testing of whistleblowing and safeguarding procedures, and a review of training.
